Hmmmm... Our Taylor surely did not shine in that duet last night. I've only heard him sing that once, but if that is his usual level, he's pretty bad. Perhaps he did better in previous engagements?
I thought it was fun to see Prince remind everyone what real talent is like.
I wish all the contestants well. But there sometimes seems to be more hype than talent. (Which isn't to say that doesn't happen all the time OUTSIDE of the show, too!)

HB, he may have done bad on the duet but he really is a great singer. The reason I wanted him to win in the first place is because he seemed to be the only one that really felt the music, so to speak. It comes from deep within with him and that makes him a winner in my book!

Yes, I admit I only heard the one song, the duet with Ms. Jump-up-and-down. I believe you that his singing comes from deep within him.
Now, I was wondering if you might tell us what comes deep within you? I mean, should YOU be our next American Idol? Or at least perhaps our Webnaughty idol? Do tell.

Alright, I've never invested the TV watching time into this show before, but I'm going to make the effort to watch a little of it.
Gotta admit, I haven't seen any of it yet.
So...anyone that has been watching...got any favorites picks yet?
Have the judges gone a little too far with insulting and humiliating the contestants?

I've been watching it and the voted off 2 girls and 2 guys of the 24 last night. One guy should've stayed, in my opinion. The last woman to sing the other night already has it in the bag if voters don't go by looks and merit them on their singing talent. She's incredible! Her and that short, black haired girl. I think her name is Gina. As for the men. The curly haired chunky guy would be my pick

I couldn't believe who they sent home either CKTC...I can't stand that Sunjia kid, he cannot sing at all, at least Sundance could hold a note...and I like the sweet little girl from San Antonio but she can't sing nearly as well as that the other girl...I was very happy to see Trampanella Barba go home, not because of all the internet hype on her, I thought she couldn't sing and was just plain frigin' rude...can't stand rude people.

i agree.
for some reason, i'm not really into idol as much as before. i think they dropped a lot of others that had more potential and personality to make it more interesting. this year the ones they chose all seem so boring.

Oh VB....Idol is not my type of TV viewing either, but I do like going outside my own zone and experiencing what others like with an open mind.
I like being able to interact with all kinds of people and share thier interest, and not just the people that are "like minded".

Oh I agree wholeheartedly! That's how I've arrived at my determination of the real that "idol" operates in. I really don't believe it to be in the category of gay type entertainment. Very early this morning is when I posted that opinion. and at that un-godly hour, everything to me is not right! Excuse me for not being more precise in my review. I meant to say the show is friggin' useless, mindless, pointless and of course effeminate!! Is that a more apt description?
