Re: Re: Seen any good [regular movies] ?
QUOTE (lonelyandhorny @ March 27, 2010, 04:04)....the animation was not as flawless as some thing done Pixar or Dreamworks...but that's all part of the charm of it!
From the trailers I've seen, I do think that is the attraction of it...classic and a little "old school"
As impressed and amazed as I am with modern animation, it can be a little too distracting sometimes.

Julie & Julia was pretty good. Meryl Streep did a wonderful job portraying Julia Childs.

Re: Seen any good [regular movies] ?
took my girls to see "Tangled", once you get past the fact that there's way to many songs being sung, it was a pretty good movie. the animation was stunning, as usual. (it's a Disney movie, so of course it had better be awesome)

Re: Seen any good [regular movies] ?
There was mention of muppet movies, I own Labryinth, which is Jim Henson / George Lucas film, starring David Bowie and a very young Jennifer Connelly. It's an old movie but I love it, as Bowie is excellent in it, he wrote the musical score for the thing which has some GREAT songs...and the non human characters are easily spotted as work by Jim Henson. Again a older movie yet somewhat little known.
Plus, and again older yet great are both the Grumpy Old Men movies, Walter Mathau is SO great, the entire cast is great...well written, and What about Bob? ...Bill Murray. The last three mentioned.. Movies I can watch time and time again, and laugh every time.
