I'm not really a lover of movies, but We Were Soldiers with Mel Gibson keeps me gripped every time.

Re: Seen any good [regular movies] ?
I watched Castaway with Tom Hanks twice over the weekend...
not a particularly great movie..but its good...really makes ya wonder, and contemplate how simple our lives really are...when it comes down to it...and the fragility of our life itself...
...not to mention the conveniences of modern life and how we so easily take it for granted..such as lighting a fire via a butane flame...or carrying a swiss army knife on a keychain for whatever purpose...
i guess what this movie says in an understated way is "life is simple" the rest if just filler.

I watched "Hotel Rwanda" last night, very disturbing but good movie, it's the story of a hotel manager, his family, 1200 refugees and the 1994 genocide massacres in Rwanda.

MOON, I too have seen this movie about 5 times and I find it fascinating. Just think, the cure for cancer and a lot of other diseases, are probably to be found somewhere in the forest of the AMAZON.
SEAN CONNERY was very good as the doctor.

Night at the Museum was hyped up a bit too much but it was still pretty good... and definitely funny. How could it not be with a cast that includes Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Robin Williams?!!
2 thumbs up on this one

Actually....we didn't like "hoodwinked" at all! I've really been into the animated stuff lately, but "Hoodwinked" was a bit on the young side for us, with no children in the house and all.
I loved "Cars" and "Over the Hedge"....and I"ve got "Rattatoulle" on queue.

Turista's...( that how ya' spell it??? ) was good. Feed, now thats a f-ed up movie, poignant, as well, in this cyber world!
Dead Bird's...awesome horror movie: unknown actors, unusual setting for its genre, super-creepy filming, and actually decent Digital-monsters!

Got "Tourista" or however ya spell it, I dunno either DM! I'll be watching it soon.
I don't think we watched the entire "Hoodwinked" Moon, my husband has little paitence and was really getting annoyed with the musical part of it.
I'll have to wait and try watching the whole thing when he's not at home!

"Wisconsin Death Trip"
This is one trippy flick! It's a documentary about a Wisconsin town during the 1890's.
Most of it is re-enactments but there are some great actual photos, and all the dialog consist of is the reading of the local newspaper articles during this time.
Trippy!!!

This might not count since I haven't seen it yet (thats because it comes out on the 25 here), but I'm drooling in anticipation for the new Pirates of the Caribbean. Capt'n Jack is one of the coolest, and strangest, characters I've ever seen!

Lol, in the grocery store on the toys for it, it's spelled rat-a-too-ee...funny, I never knew how to pronounce it before I saw that!
I will likely see the new Hitcher, but I've always thought the old one was one of the best horror movies I've ever seen. As a matter of fact, isn't it considered a cult movie?
I think it was the first movie I ever saw Rutger in and boy, did he do a good job! Scared the bejeebies out of me!
