It's at the top of my "wanna see" list. yes chazzy i have just seen it on the weekend its well worth watching!
jarhead was one Marians reflection of his tour of service nothing more than that .....I found it very boring and off of they true meaning on why we were there....

Thanks for that feedback...I'm a real freak for any military history, whether it's ancient history or history being made as we speak.
There is, in my eyes, no people more noble than veterans of wars. I can spend hours listening to them, and asking them countless questions.
This short conversation is inspiration for a new thread in the "writer's corner"

I recommend Lucky Number Sleven. It has a good story and plot. It reminded me of Pulp Fiction. It has a lot of death scenes, so if you don't like violence, I wouldn't see it.

Finally! I sat back and watched "Sling Blade" in it's entirety. Such an excellent piece of work.
Also watched "The Guardian"...it's a hero/drama flick about the US Coast Guard.
Doesn't really throw anything new atcha, but a pretty good movie none the less.

The animated movie, Flushed Away, was a lot better than I thought it would be. It was hilarious!
The Return, with Sarah Michelle Gelur was pretty good, too. Might watch Eragon tonight... I'll keep ya' posted

We went to see "Ghostrider" this past weekend, awesome movie! Also saw Rocky Balboa on video and Eragon, both excellent movies. I had read Eragon, so was waiting for it and other than being a little flat in the music area, I liked it a lot.

Just watched "The Prestige"...I liked it very much, but it may be a little slow for some.
It's a twisting story of two rival magicians at the turn of the century, the story line carries a little bit of Tesla in it!

CASINO ROYALE was pretty good, although the scene where he gets whacked in the goobers repeatedly, made me a bit uncomfortable. I would recommend this movie, not the goober whacking, to the guys.

I watched "The Marine" with that wrestler dude (John Cena)in it, and If you like action movies, it is well worth the time. Also watched "Rocky" is he not too old for this stuff. I personally did not think it was very good, but if you are a ROCKY fiend, then you should enjoy it.

I do not think that everyone's familiar with who Tesla really was, but the movie is one the best I've seen lately.

Re: Seen any good [regular movies] ?
One of the better movies I've ever seen, other than "JFK", is "FREQUENCY". Excellent pacing and a real surprise ending. The premise is far fetched, but once you start watching, you will get caught up in it. A family movie that's not in any way lame. It's also a good date movie.
Anyone else see this movie? What did you think of it?

Yup, Letters of our fathers is about the men who fought & died on Iwo Jima, terrible battle, think of it this way, The Normandy Invasion , we lost an average of 800 men a minute, Iwo Jima was worse. The film Munich is about hunting down & killing everyone associated with the 1972 olympic massacre

Yep, Tropi....so far, "The Departed" is the best yet!!!
I watched one called "Crank" last night, I did like it quite allot, it's violent, got that "crime syndicates/drug cartels thing going on, and the lead role is a hitman wanting to leave his career behind him. Maybe be a bit of a tired story line, but with a little twist.
I was drawn in by the editing/directing....I'm such a sucker for great directing!
