Tattoos and their meaning
If you have a tattoo does it have a meaning behind it? Mine is a black panther it is my spirit guide from a tribe in Africa.

yes. I decide on the meaning then get the tattoo.
a celtic cross design with my family name in it. to remind me who I am and where I came from and that no matter where i go or what I do it's not something I can change, so take pride in it.
an abstract dark angel to remind me that evil is never far away, even within myself.
and I'm thinking of getting one of those 70's "keep on truckin" guys... i'm getting to the age where I no longer think death is for everyone else. my dad has this same tat. it was faded to just the black outline as long as I've been around... i used to color it in as a kid. I'll get this one to honor the best man I know.

The first tat, I got was when I turned 18-my dad paid for me to have it done as of all the history we've been through my whole life. He's one helluva dad that I would never trade on. That one is on my ankle with a moon and a rose wrapped around it. The moon, i think, represents the fact that it sees everything in this world and knows that there are going to be ups and downs for every single soul living for better or for worse. The rose is the love and that we'll make it through anything that comes in anybody's way.
my second one, is my harley tattoo. Its on my lower back and I love harleys so much that nobody or nothing, could take that feeling away from me. Just something about it when I'm around harleys. It brings a big smile to my face, just get all excited, kinda like a feeling you would or should have for some guy, but instead its about harleys... it's all about the harley.  Nothing else matters.

OK, I have three......
A heart on my ankle with my first son's name in it....
An angle, with my second son's name, but If I knew then, what I know now, it should have been the devil.....
And I had MY lips tattooed on my ass!... The reason behind that one.....Well, it was my first one......had to be a bit discrete, And how many people see your ass?... , not to mention the fact that you all know me well enough to know the main reason of putting my lips on my ass!...
Come to think of it....More people have seen my ass since that tattoo, then I could imagine....

im thinking of another tattoo... have been thinking of it lately anyways..
something along the line of my first and middle name in cursive writing of some sort with bluish/purple colors on my thigh or my shin or something.. dont know yet for sure.. maybe with a lil flower of some sort.. like those.. amaryllis or something? who knows

I've wanted one for years now, but never knew what to get. But, I will probably get my family crest, from Germany, and if I am successful at proving my Cherokee heritage, then the Cherokee sign. Ma has a small butterfly on her shoulder. It reminds her of Las Vegas, where she got it, and I think it also reminds her that she is the rebel of the her family.

it can hurt, Flatbed, depending on where you get it. some areas are more sensitive than others are. It kinda feels like being stung by a million bees in the same place at the same time.
Outlining can hurt, I think coloring in hurts more, but honestly, it all depends on the intricacy of the tattoo being done.
Warren and I are going to get armbands one of these days, lol, but he still owes me one from the first one I got, which is a heart of thorns and roses that says "warrens toy" inside of it.
