Sometimes, it's difficult to understand others here and on the internet, when all we have is text and a few emoticons, when in "real life", we have facial expressions, voice tones, body language, and/or a history of personaly knowing someone, and they way they are, their sense of humor.....jd is alright, he's as balanced as the next guy, and not as bitter or negative as he may appear to be in text.
I've been misunderstood, I've been mistakenly percieved as mean, bitchy, pissed off and even stupid when I was merely being a smarty-ass-pants, using a little "lite and fun" sarcasm, or being silly or humorous when I've typed a thread topic or a post reply....
When it comes to the forum, I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, I assume the best of everyone, and I also assume that everything posted is done so with a light heart and a sense of humor, except, of course, those post that are obviously of a serious nature. If I ever do believe that someone is being rude or mean, I have no problem just sending them a quick note and clearing up the matter right away, and yes, you bet, a long time ago, I did send jd one of those kinds of notes!

I agree with chazzy.. but the words are all you have here and all others see. jd comes off as synical at best. If he's been "notified" of how his post/attitude is being seen by others and hasn't attempted to remedy it I can only expect it's coming across as intended.

I'm stickin' on this one !!!
There does exist a thing called "forum etiquette", I see bad and rude behavior on this forum everyday, all day long, and the people responsible for this either truly don't realize that they are being a little rude or in the back of their minds, kinda know that they are, but just aren't that concerned with it.
I don't mind showing tolerance for all the "courtesy infractions", and I appreciate the tolerance of others when I've had my moments of "etiquette faux pas", or any comment I may have made that may have been offended anyone.
Sometimes comments are occasionally made otherwise good members, But Kb, I'm certain, holds the record for comments that have sent members running off whimpering, some to never return again, and all of us that know and love KB, know that she means no harm or offense, she just a spontaneous fast thinker and occasionally likes to go for that "shock factor" that always seems to amuse us!!
Now....I wanna see us all "make nice" and get back to talking dirty....

My final comment in this thread....our worst and constant "etiquette infractions" here are the hijacked threads, a good topic turns into 2 or 3 pages of silly nonesense that only makes sense to a very few people and offers nothing of value for everyone else.
I don't worry about it too much either....
