Where the hell...
...have I been???
Took in a sweet soul of a stray cat recently, poor baby had a mangled leg, been run over by a car, I"m guessing.
The little sweetie had his leg amputated yesterday, and is coming back here to his new home with me today, he'll require allot of love and attention for the next few days.
Thank God for the "Doris Day Foundation" for paying half the vet bills, for the vet who will give us time to pay the other half...
...and God help anyone who tires of responsibilities of pet ownerships, and dumps or abandons their pets, and leaves them to suffer....
I'll be around here as much as possible, and I swear I will answer all my mail as soon as I can!
Luv ya all...and Schnagsy, the 3 legged cat sends his regards to ya all as well!!!

Schnagsy is home, the incision is about 12" long, they took the whole leg off up to the hip, I couldn't help but to burst out crying when I saw him for the first time after his surgery. He is suffering some post op pain, but the resilient little creature is wanting to run and jump about and doesn't care for being confined to his crate.
The vets that took care of him were excellent, they did the neutering with the newer, less invasive but but very expensive method of lasering, and they kept the charges down to unbelievable minimum!

I know from our other conversations how you love and care for animals. I believe the kitty is very lucky to have you. give the little guy a lovin' for me and I hope all goes well and that the other pets you have will accept the new family member.

Schnag's is doing great, I'm fine (just catching up on some of the rest and sleep I've missed out on lately) and it won't be long till you all are hearing way too much from me again!!

Anyone that would miss treat an animal I don't have any use for,you're a good and kind woman,cats are great pets to have!some one threw a kitten out of a car in front of the place I worked at after it closed and it crawed into the spare tire of a truck and hid there till the owner came to us to find it, he heard it meowing and could'nt find it,we found it and I brought it home and took care of it till my girlfriend (now ex wife) came to my house and took it back to MD with her and found it a home.She and I both love animals and would'nt harm any if we could help it.

Schnagsy had his sticthes removed Thursday, and is doing absolutely great!
Poor thing must have been suffering more than we could have known, he's a whole new cat now!
I took the sweetheart in over two months ago...and yesterday was the first day I saw him romp and play like a kitten!!
(Actually, I'm more of a dog person when it comes to pets, but people keep dumping these damn cats off!)
