WEB CAMS ???
Anyone have info. on web cams,? Good ones,,,, Bad ones,,,, price ranges etc. I have a logitech QuickCam Pro 4000,1.3 megapixel paid $100.oo thought some of you pros have some Ideas ???

Also, thought maybe the lack of having a cam or scanner could be the reason for so many non-photo members ?

I have Creative Labs Pro EX, I'm happy with it, I usually go to Amazon.com when I'm shopping for computer stuff and electronics, just for the info there, I can compare price, check the ratings...I did have to pay attention to the resolutions, and whether they came with a mic, etc....

I have the intel Pro cam......found that the resolution and color is top notch. I have had many compliments on the cam. Picked it up for around 70 dollars

I use Sony Digital handycam. Most digital camcorders nowadays come with USB streaming webcam feature. It's more expensive than JUST buying a webcam, but if you're looking to replace your camcoder anyway it's a good way to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
