St Patrick’s Day facts
Did you know? The odds of finding a four-leaf clover are about 1 in every 10000. Four-leaf clovers are associated with luck, whereas shamrocks have religious ties.
The most popular alcoholic drink on St Patrick’s day is… Guinness.
The Chicago River dyeing tradition became annual nearly 60 years ago, in 1962. The dyeing process will begin at 9 a.m. on the morning of the parade, March 17.
St Patrick’s Day parades began in America, not Ireland
The very first St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the United States was held in Boston (1737)
St Patrick’s day facts: It used to be a dry holiday! Until the 1970s, Irish law prohibited pubs from opening on March 17 as a mark of respect for this religious day. Oh, how times have changed!

Zipper dee-doo-dah!
I found a 4 leaf clover in a small clump, in one of my pots the other day. I'm so gonna preserve it...
As for finding a Leprechaun with a pot of gold, I'm still working on that one...
