OK now what?
You have placed your personal. You spend way too many hours surfing through all the possibilities, hit the chat room to listen to the crickets and check out the message board for signs of life. Then it happens!!! "Hello" appears in your mail box.
What are some effective ways to tell if the person you are talking to is real? Share your criteria for sniffing out the fakes.

Well, we have been having some hot chat with a woman,(not from here). We were starting to feel pretty comfortable with her until she kept asking for nude pics. She sent us some G-rated pics, which look professionally done, which she said her mother did. We decided to offer to meet her for dinner, nothing more, and the conversations have pretty much come to a halt. Hmmmmmmmm

Seriously, I wouldn't send any more pictures!....Not that I'm a pro, but I have been looking for a woman for sometime now, and they all seem to be all talk no action!....But there is something not right about this ladies situation!....Go with your gut!...Obviously it brought you to ask the question!...Must have been a reason for that?....

I always did wish I was that single woman who could just pick a couple like you guys to have the fun with!.....
Just be patient, it will happen when you least expect it!....It's NEVER worth settling!...

Sometimes, webcams help. This way you can see their body language when you share info. Maybe a next step before meeting them.....A thought.

That's a good idea, but more than likely, the other person wouldn't have one. I would make a safe bet that in this situation, it was a male pretending to be a woman. Oh well...she/he can kiss my  ...lol...

The internet has it's share of fakes, and I've also ran across a few that have a secret I'd rather not know about, or have a personality or character flaw or quirk that I simply cannot or will not waste my time dealing with.
All of this, is why I spend allot of time getting to know someone before I even give up my IM identities to anyone, and I've found forums and message boards the best tool for really getting to know another person. I'm very selective, in no big ass hurry, and really have no specific need or "search criteria" that I focus on, I just enjoy the company I find. (...and the "other stuff", naturally, just follows!)

Dammit Hothands Been thinking about you lately, just wondering how you are, whatcha been doing, see you online once in awhile, but don't hear much from you!!
Like the new photo!!! Nuttin' like a man all groomed up, neat and clean, with a jacket and tie and all that.....(bet you were wearing some kick ass aftershave or cologne when that photo was taken!)
