Typical Male (?) Clueless in Courtship
Ed was a confirmed bachelor who went on a special " singles cruise". Over the course of the trip he met and talked with Brenda and found out that she lived in the same city as he did--in fact only a few miles from him. They started to see each other regularly.
Ed took Brenda to dinner, they went shopping and to museums and parks--they were having a great time. They grew closer and closer and talked so much that Ed finally realized that Brenda was "the one" and he decided to give up his bachelor ways.
He arranged a special dinner to "pop the question." He was talking to her about the idea of marriage and he said, "Brenda there IS one thing though that you will have to accept. I am a very avid golfer. When I am not with you or working, I play golf all the time. I eat, drink and sleep golf. I'm being honest, can you accept that? Because, if not, you'd better say so now."
Brenda looks into his eyes and says, "Well, Ed, I can certainly accept the fact that you like golf so much. I like golf too--and I love you Ed." She takes a deep breath and says, "Since we are being so honest, I need to tell you that for the last 5 years, I've been a hooker."
Ed says," That's ok, I bet it's because you are not keeping your wrists straight when you hit the ball."
