all them peeps down river better be filling sand bags, the melt hasn't begun yet up here, they been opening up the flowages and draining them out. lots of water locked up in the swamps yet.

We have been having perfect weather! However, people want to complain....always complain. 87' one day 67' the next. Rain... yes, they complain about a little rain?!! I love the rain.
The rain keeps the ticks away, but Florida's birds are back. Mosquitoes!!! I can live without mosquitoes. Even when full covered they will bite my face. I get these weird welts. I don't know of a repellent you can use on your face?

off with deet ,spray on your hand wipe on your face, keep out of eyes, mouth and such. care full ya dont get burnt from the sun. sable fly's love the stuff though, no matter how much you use they still bite ya, they crawl in your shoes and bite ya though your socks. them sand flies up on lake superior. dont know what kind of flies are down there. them and the thieving seagulls.

at least this will take care of the fire danger as the next round of rain comes though, no thunder or lighting , but a good soaking.
