October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), also referred to in America as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.
I have two classmates who recently underwent surgery. Another who is suffering from colon cancer. They are better than me. I do know cancer will affect everyone whether it be yourself, family, or friend.

My wife was only 36 when she got breast cancer.Her being a fit 115# mother, she found a small lump early. With three kids at home, it hit us like a ton of bricks. It is almost always curable if found early nowadays. I'm happy to say that was 19 years ago, and she is still a fit beautiful grandma, and still 115#.

She is my age. Wonderful to hear all is well! Grandchildren are the best !!
