Pros:
*out of the box, Alexa felt very high quality. I was surprised by the heavy weight, which I interpreted as a sign of good quality. A light speaker will likely result in muffled sound.
*alexa has a very human like voice. It's very clear that it's computer generated, but she sounds crisp, clear, and elicits emotion in certain phrases she speaks.
Cons:
*when music is playing above volume 5, Alexa begins to have trouble hearing me.
*alexa can have quite an attitude. I will call her name, she will make a noise and glow blue, signifying she is listening, and then when I am mid sentence she will turn off and stop listening to me just like my wife.
*she requires a plug. I like to listen to music while in the shower, which requires me having to unplug Alexa, take her to the shower, plug her in, and then reboot her.

There are wireless versions, portable charging ports etc...
Also you can put Alexa on your Kindle or phone as well. I have the home version, the kindle version..The only issues I run into are: 1)If I'm not at Kam's it is also linked to the home version as well as my kindle so he will give it a command and things will pop up on my kindle. His granddaughter played a children's song about 15 times in a row and my kindle kept telling my about frozen! Ughhhh.I was trying to sleep at the time and had to get up and tell my kindle to UNLINK. 2) I don't think it likes Kam..We can both ask her the same question and Alexa will answer me and tell him "Sorry,I don't know the answer to that question" Haha I told him that's because he isn't nice to her. Although when she does answer him, I have caught him saying "Thank you". I keep telling him that "please" and "thank you" are not something you need to say to a computer but its a habit.lol
