Hope everyone had a great new year! I worked new years eve and new years day so I was a good girl. For once. LOL Syb that sounds like a fun night. I do not miss not having that cold this year. We just got snow a couple days ago. Not missing that either. LH got the snow.

not that much, just around 4" or so. just enough to let me take a tumble and twist my knee. it's fine now, three days later. and i had to work both days as well.

So is there a traditional foods you prepare to celebrate the New Year?
I've learned we are to eat greens, black eyed peas, rice. I did not know this until 21 years or are these dishes universal?

Someone prepared for me fried pork chops, cabbage, mashed potatoes, greens and black eyed peas. Pecan cake for dessert.
