Could A Teacher Ask This In Class Today?
The teacher in George's class was asking students what their parents did for a living.
"Mary, what do your parents do?"
Mary replied, "My dad is a lawyer and my mom is a nurse."
"Very nice," said the teacher.
"Robert, what do your parents do?"
Robert said proudly, "My dad is a policeman and my mom's a teacher!"
"Nice," said the teacher.
"George, what do your parents do?"
He stood up and answered, "My dad's dead and my mother's a hooker."
After the class quieted down, he was sent right to the principal's office. Fifteen minutes later, he returned.
"Did you tell the principal what you said?" asked the teacher.
George replied, "Yes, he said that in our economy every job is important, gave me a chocolate bar and took my phone number.
