make that three. we joined just recently and have noticed the lack of activity. if this wasn't a sister site to zoig we would have gone within a few days. we even suggested on zoig that the two sites be merged. seemed like a good idea at the time and while i dont remember why it wont happen the owner had good reason for not doing so. we will be around for awhile, the people here seem nice and friendly. you sir seem to be an all around pretty damn good guy. sorry the adoption thing didnt work out and we hope you ranch don't burn to the ground. take care.

I'm going to bet you have already submitted a support ticket. the owner of this site and zoig is active in the forums. like here free members can post in forums. I might also mention the chat room there works fine, I'm sure licencing of software is why it isn't used here but it is proof the software exist. I have a feeling this site is being left to slowly die out.

You are still advertising that fact, that they can Chat with all members of WN.......That is inaccurate to this date, and has been for some time...
You have an agreement with these people , although you've covered your ass well in your "Terms of Membership"...You have an agreement of obligation to provide the services advertised, because of the capitol rendered through the collection of membership fees.
One of them being a functioning Chat Room, as you have, and continue to advertise.

I completely agree with you about the chatroom issues, I understand your frustration and we are all frustrated. It's been talked about for years.

I've mentioned before, the internet habits of people have changed, people want apps, left swipe...right swipe. People have developed an attention span that is not satisfied by meaningful and thoughtful sharing on message boards like they use to. Sad, very sad. I do feel there is still a strong audience for people like us, who want more than a quick abbrieviated few lines and then on to the next fleeting thought. I'm sorry there have not been any upgrades here to keep up.

Yes, an improved chatroom program is vital...but I do not like being seen as abandoning and not giving a crap...I've given much time over years to this site, some years as the only moderator.
