Just in time foe Valentines Day... Sniffing(actually snorting like cocaine) Chocolate!
I have been to Chocolate themed festivals, Chocolate themed towns(Hershey,PA), Chocolate themed Spas, Chocolate themed hotels and Restaurants.I have seen clothes, furniture and a house made of chocolate. I have seen the largest chocolate fountain in the world. BUT SNIFFING CHOCOLATE?
So now there is a new craze. Yes, sniffing chocolate. The French Chocolatier even invented a sniffing gadget to go with his sniffing chocolate.This is becoming very popular and is supposed to give you a high that is Legal and lasts about 15 minutes. However doctors are concerned that snorting food products can lead to infections from bacteria. (My first thought when I heard that was, "we can eat it but not snort it because of fear of bacteria?"  When they interviewed people in the street most women said they will stick to eating it. I wonder if the popularity has more to do with calories than anything else. I just can't imagine getting the same satisfaction as eating vs snorting.If we would be satisfied with snorting chocolate why wouldn't we just smell it and move on. Although snorting it does claim to give you a high. I have no idea what type of high or if it is true because they didn't go any further into that .
So what do you think of this new craze? Would you do it? By the way the person that came up with this said they thought at first to try it with things like chilli pepper but said it would burn like hell so they went with ginger and other less painful combinations with the cocoa.He claims they are things that clear your nose and open up your brain for the cocoa.
