say it ain't so...
The bizarre story of the week crown undoubtedly goes to this amazing tale of Hollywood friendships, franchise reboots and Justin Bieber's vocal chords.
Longtime BFFs David Hasselhoff and Justin Bieber have been spotted out and about together of late, leading people to speculate that they might be working together on something.
And it's our lucky day, because the Hoff has graced us with the news that Bieber will be joining him in creating the Knight Rider spin-off Killing Hasselhoff. The best part? Bieber will be voicing KITT, the talking car from the original series.
Let's just hammer that home: David Hasselhoff is going to be aided in crime fighting by a car with the voice of a million teenage wet dreams.
The Hoff spoke about how he got Biebs on board:
He called me and asked me for a favor and I called him back and said, 'Can you do me a favor?' and he said, 'Yes,' I did his favor first because I love the Bieb. I think he's a cool kid and he gets a bad rap. He's a good guy and I like his music, I've known him for five years.
Killing Hasselhoff is pretty under wraps right now, but the plot is reportedly about a man who must hire a hitman to kill Hasselhoff in order to win a celebrity death pool. Of course.
I'm not sure how I feel about this one - other than seriously confused. KITT is so iconic and so is the voice of William Daniels, who originally played him. But then again, maybe it'd be good to breathe new tweeny life into the character...well as long as they never,,EVER...let K.I.T.T. sing...it'll still suck.
