Disappeaing For A Few Days
Sunday is gonna be the most important thing I've ever played at. It's so humbling to know that I was invited because the host likes my work. Only 4 people were invited to play at it. Big, local names. I need to rehearse my ASS off! Film at 11.

just as long as it's not at the local retirement home, i'll tell you to knock 'em dead! go get 'em dude, i personally know how great you are. (well, not PERSONALLY, but i've seen and heard your recorded work) all i can say is...dude,YOU ROCK!!!!!!!

as long as we can keep sy away you will do fine
if he tries to do the limbo in cinks and spurs you can shoot him
you still got it no doubt or you would have been invited,
knock in dead OCB

I do have a set of long Vaquero spurs that would aid in a limbo....and I've been shot at a few times by guys with white turbans, but never by a guy with a white guitar.
I've got a sneaking suspicion Free don't need no help from the likes of me.
I have faith he'll do just fine.

Cords, amps, mics, & stands? Check. New strings on the Takamine? Check. Batteries, capos, picks & rubber bands? Check. Rehearsal of set list? Check. Try out all equipment so there are no surprises? Check. I think I'm in good shape for tomorrow. 18 more hours. I feel better about this one than the last.
Thanks to all of you guys for your support and encouragement. Doin all originals and that will be very freeing. (no pun intended!) I think it's gonna be a good day

Well, I can only rely on what other people tell me and from what I heard, it came off pretty damn good. I had people I didn't know come up to me at the end of my set saying how much they enjoyed the songs. Even the other players were saying it because I was the only one who wasn't doing covers. And the end was great. All 5 of us got up and did 4 more songs where each was taking a different verse of the song and then we'd all come in on the chorus. It was an absolute blast. Probably the best playing experience I've ever had. We'd never played together before. In fact, I just met them all yesterday for the first time.
