Proposal?
Would you consider marrying someone your best friend or sibling dated?

Re: Proposal?
Hmmmmmm......If the chemistry is there, and you belong together and can't live without them, there should be no question.
It has been my experience that you may lose a friend, or get the ccold shoulder for a long while from your sibling.

Re: Proposal?
To many things to consider. How do they feel about each other. But I would say in MOST cases its BAD, VERY BAD!
The only time it wouldn't be is if maybe they dated one time and really didn't care at all.
Or in my case it wouldn't matter because I'm never getting married again!

Well truth be told ...my Ex...shit a shiver just went down my spine !....Was my sisters best friend, and dated my cousin for quite awhile...She was pissed, and he and I got in a huge fist fight that ended up with a broken frontroom window and a few bad scars on both of us from the glass...oh and the ten foot drop onto a ford pick-up hood.
My parents raised him from about the age of ten, so he could be called my brother.
Does that count ?

Re: Proposal?
it all depends on how recent they were together. and how serious they were about each other. if they were planning a wedding, then probably not. if they've been apart for more than 5 years, then probably, but i'd make sure that they were BOTH comfortable with the idea.

Re: Proposal?
I think a lot depends on what the previous relationship was, and how/why it ended.

Re: Proposal?
That is a very good question, there are so many things to think about, like JLee said. I do not think I would have dated anyone my sister did. But I do know some that have done that and things are great. I know my youngest asked his brother because he thought about it. He was told to go for it, But he never did.
