To all the noobs!
I've haven't been able to get all caught up with the introductions forum, so let me just say "hello, and very happy to see you around the site!" to all of you, you look like a lively bunch...
To all the noobs and non VIP members.....I hope you find any part of this thread helpful in some way....
I'll give you the best advice I can on making the most of your membership on this site, and I hope that other members here will also post and be helpful by sharing what they know and have learned.
Your profile and ad.....Post a photo!!! Can't stress it enough, ads with a photo get far, far more responses and replies than an ad without. There are a number of members that won't even look at ads unless they have at least one photo posted.If you have a strong need for total anonymity, or you're a little shy about posting naked noodie photos, check the thread in General Discussions titled "excellent photos". You'll find suggestions for photos that you'll feel comfortable posting.
If, after a reasonable amount of time, you feel you're not getting the response to your ad that you want....change it!!! Change it often! Try completely different approaches, add or change photos!!
Use your "naughty list". This list is great for knowing when people you are interested in contacting are online while you are also online. Use it for the profiles of members that not only offer what you are looking for, but take the time to read their ad and make sure YOU ARE WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR!! Don't just go by explicit photos, and graphic ad text that gets you all hard and twitchy!
The "who's viewed me" list....This is one of the first feature on the site that allot of members faithfully check out. It would definitly get a message across to someone that you are VERY interested in them, if you click on their profile and appear on their "who's viewed me" list frequently.
Naughty notes....you may get better results from sending frequent naughty notes to your select list of choices, rather than sending out masses of naughty notes to a large number of members. Sending one a day, or several a week will make your name familiar to them, make them aware of your sincere interest in them and increase the chance that they will take the time to check out your ad. (Sure, there are some members that may find this annoying and "needy, but most will find it flattering)
Chatroom...When you log into the site, and you see that one or several members on your naughty list are also online.... open a new window, enter the chatroom and stay there! You can surf all you want and at intervals, check back in to the chatroom to see if anyone has decided to join you there. There are existing threads, and sometimes, someone will post a new on, just stating that they are online and would like to chat. The newest forum topics posted show up front and center on the sites homepage, and are hard NOT to notice!! State that you are a "chatter" or that you frequent the chatroom when online so anyone interested in contacting you will know where to find you!
The forum message board....join in, make yourself visible, it will increase traffic to your profile, lets other members "get to know you", and makes yours a familiar name when members are checking thier "who's viewed me" list, their inbox, and when they visit the chatroom.
Most of all, just relax and enjoy the site, make friends. Open yourself to contact with other members even if they are not "your type", or live half a planet away, or there is just a platonic interest between you...people travel....people know people... someone you may have just casual contact with could be someone who has friends or relatives who travel to or live in your area, maybe they have a cousin that knows someone....etc...... A real, in-person hook up with someone within a stone's throw would be slammin'....but if not, relax and enjoy what the internet has to offer....like erotic emails and photo exchanges, chat, instant messengers(some of the messengers have audio/voice features now, all for the low minimal investment cost of a microphone for your computer) and the ever popular webcamming. No one will say it's as good as the real thing, but hey, it is what gets allot of us through the night.
Don't focus on getting tons of "hot horny women who have no standards whatsoever and just wanna fuck anything with a dick in a marathon of one nite stands" Adult websites like this can be a good "tool" for hooking up, use the tool, and don't get frustrated if after only a few weeks or even longer, "easy sexstarved, cumcraving whores who just want no strings attached sex " aren't filling up your inbox begging for your hard throbbing man member after checking out your photoless vague profile.
