Is There a Broke Back Mountain in China ?
So today the new owner of the ranch next door to me dropped by when I was hand pounding fence posts in the ground between his new property and mine.
Now I had heard this guy was Gay ....and thats all I'd heard about him, and that didn't bother me....
So this Prius painted light yellow pulls up , and the door opens and shuts, and I heard footsteps but his head hadn't cleared the roof of his car so I couldn't see who he was.
He rounds the corner of his fender and there is a five foot four asian guy that couldn't weigh more than 125 pounds.
This little dude was wearing a pink plaid shirt, tan wranglers, and a western belt buckle that looked like he was wearing a hubcap around his waist, because he was so small.
Even my hired cowgirl looked at me and said under her breath "What the Fuck?"
He plants a tan cowboy hat on his head , and it has that 1970's look to it...you know, the feather hat band that flares up into the crown...So I asked my new neighbor
"How fast was that orange chicken flying when it hit your hat?"
Well he proceeds to start giving me shit about how the fence is all wrong, and how I'm not on the property line...blah, blah ,blah,...I really wasn't listening, beause my hired cowgirl was snickering so loud.
So I said to him..."Well if you think you can reach the top of a 7 foot fence post , and pound it into the ground ,..you put in this fence !!"
He said something else , but my hired hands laughter was drowning out his words...and he was angry so his Chinese accent got a little strong...He stormed outta there and tripped over a cow pie and dirtied his new red cowboy boots.
My employee looked at me with tears in her eyes and said "It's a damn good thing you don't hit little girls " I guess she thought it was funny me taking shit from a Gay Asian guy that was shorter than her, weighed less than her, and couldn't lift half the weight she could...she also said something about she wouldn't wear that get up for a Halloween costume
She was laughing so damn hard ,I think she peed herself...

Re: Is There a Broke Back Mountain in China ?
That clinches it...I have to visit you and some day I want to take you into Manhattan. I think hanging out with you would just be so much fun. I want to see your reaction to people in NY as you see the craziness of it all. I can imagine you and Kam just making comments about the people. Of coarse I would need to tell people you two are crazy and just released for the day from an institution so the wouldn't try to kill you.
I wonder how people that dress like that or strange in general expect to be taken seriously? Don't you just want to hold a mirror up to them and say "Now seriously...If you saw someone looking like that, would you take them seriously or be able to keep a straight face?"
I think I am going to have to start copying and pasting your stories. I will put them in a big book, send then to a publisher, and when the checks come in, I'll just take management, & finders fees.
For the record I'm still laughing about the story you wrote about your dog.
By the way I had a cowboy hat with a feather hat band. I think the feathers disintegrated around 1984ish...It was part of a uniform from a bar I worked in when I was 18 years old.
Kam had me look at a clip online of "The Rock singing, You ain't women enough.." After we read your post. I was laughing so hard I was crying just thinking about the face you must have had when this guy looking like he watched Urban Cowboy to many times tried to get in your face.I'm just surprised you didn't say he had embroidery or rhinestones everywhere.

Well now I don't know who to side with...I mean you're an experienced rancher who without a doubt knows about fences but he's a gay guy who probably knows how to pound a post...

Re: Is There a Broke Back Mountain in China ?
There is a chap maker in Branson, Colorado. I couldn't afford his chaps only to have mine patched. I ask him once how he makes a living at here in the middle of nowhere, He said 80% of what he makes goes to Europe and Asia. Some of the ones he makes would make bull ridin chaps look blah. OCB

Well that would make sense, they are a minature version of the real thing. They have a thinner more fragile skin, and they are seedless...

Something tells me that where ever he's from...he got run outta town tarred and feathered. I'd just like to know how the hell he ended up out here two weeks from everywhere, and telling me my drift fence is drifting ...saying it with a lispe ,clenching his butt cheeks together, and his hands on his hips.
Why does this shit always happen to me?

I think you have the wrong film in mind. Haven't you seen any of those Kung-Fu programmes where the little Asian guy beats the shit out of people week in and week out?

Well I have no desire to see his Drunken Monkey style Martial Arts...And this Ex-G.I. Joe already has a Kung-Fu grip...I also think this little limp wristed guy couldn't slap his way out of a wet paper bag.

Well I've become aware of the fact that there are a few guys here that like to visit my profile,....which is something that I choose to not acknowledge, and very much ignore...
Denial is a very powerful thing, ...and so is a "Delete" button.
I also believe....in my odd reality, as I choose to see it...That if a set of DD boobs are pointed north, or in my direction, that compass has the perfect magnetism...and Mother Nature should never be ignored, or questioned.

Well that may be the case Doctor...But I take pride in the fact that when I wet the bed at 17 years of age, I had a 28 year old young lady next to me that was a squirter...and she didn't even notice...
