Interview Wandering5tar
Just don't hear enough out of him...ask him anything.
Do you cook? (I'm always curious if a man has learned to cook)

I am an excellent chef, as it happens. Omelettes so light and fluffy they melt in the mouth and gravy that has led to physical blows at the dinner table.
Cheesecake with a ginger nut base is delicious and rice krispy cake made with mars bars instead of just chocolate.
While in Phuket at Christmas I did a Thai cookery course which is amazingly quick and simple to prepare amazing meals.

Gawd, it's awesome when a doode likes to cook!
I've never had Thai food.
What do you consider to be some of the best movies ever made?

I'm not a huge movie fan but I enjoyed:
Dead Poets' Society
Equus - Richard Burton is astonishing
Ice Cold In Alex
There's Something About Mary
Dodgeball - just for the scene with Lance Armstrong now...
The Police Squad series
Airplance
The History Boys
Alien
The Shawshank Redemption
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
and for reasons I cannot understand, let alone explain...
The Die Hard series

Re: Interview Wandering5tar
I did look up the 'Equus' movie, might have to stream that one sometime, it's sounds kinda dark, gotta be the time and mood for me to get into a movie with that much gristle.
Where do you like to go and do when you want to spend a little time away from home?

I'm quite a bit sports fan so I play cricket in the summer and watch rugby in the winter. Rugby is like American Football but is played by men rather than RoboCop lookalikes.
I'm also a big comedy fan so go to gigs when I can.
(This is what it must have been like being a guest on the Piers Morgan show but without the irritation of Piers Morgan!!)

Hey Free ol' buddy!
Not had to do much travelling recently. Been to Newcastle a couple of times but LiberalWife was very dull and wouldn't meet! Other than that a trip to Madrid and that's about it.
Summer coming now anyway, and there is no better place on earth than England in summer :-) You should come over...

When you hit your thumb with a hammer, or catch your dick in your zipper..and start swearing, do you still have an English accent , or do you sound more Canadian?
What is Bangers and Mash?
...and who the hell eats Mushy Peas?

I say dear boy, one must always maintain the very highest of standards don't you know! One should never descend to the language of the colonies...
Mushy peas is a delicacy from the north of England. Best enjoyed on a warm pork pie with lashings of mint sauce :-)
Bangers and Mash is Cockney Rhyming Slang for a lower class woman. Are you familiar with Cockney Rhyming Slang:
Apples (and pears) = Stairs
Bacon (Bits) = Tits
Dog (and bone) = Phone
Bangers (and mash) = Trailer Trash
So you might say "Look at Bambi there! Complete Bangers. Nice set of Bacons though"

Re: Interview Wandering5tar
So Bangers and Mash isn't sausage and mashed potato..?
And who puts mint sauce on their food ? Thats what they make Ketchup for....Oh pardon me..I forgot the Queens English..I meant Catsup, the scarlet coloured sauce, that comes with the flip up bonnet. It goes very nice with Grey Poupon, but we never put it on our Crumpets...That would not be civilized.
