Nerf games
seems the high school have a tradition every spring, like paint ball they have this game they play with Nerf guns, ends up some one reported them for having guns on the grounds , the cops show up and 6 of them are ticketed for disorderly, 250 a crack by the Wausau cops. people are not happy. just shows ya how paranoid its become.

I haven't really looked around, is it difficult to even buy toy guns now?
I know awhile back they started putting the bright orange tip/cap on the ends of them.

i hear ya Ash, a teenage girl got expelled for the rest of year, from a small town school in southern Minnesota because during a random locker check, the dogs smelled her perfume, so the police checked her purse and found a pocket knife. she used it to help her boyfriend do some chores on the farm, and forgot it was in her purse. the school has zero tolerance weapons policy, so she got expelled for the rest of the year.
and i can remember when i worked in a kitchen, and one of the dishwashers was 16. he had gone duck hunting before school, and forgot to drop his gun off at home. it was still in his trucks gun rack. about an hour into the school day, someone told him that they saw his gun was still in his truck, so in fear that he'd get into trouble, before someone else had the chance to report him, he went to the principles office and told him what had happened. he got a two week suspension. the superintendent told him he should have just taken the gun home first, the consequences for leaving the school grounds with out permission are less harsh, and that the gun on school grounds would go on his permanent record...

well that was the thing the photo in the paper showed it was made out of yellow plastic and shot golf ball size Nerf balls, I mean yellow plastic? there was a pole about 75% voted they, the cops step out of the way on this, well was they just made two grand off of it.
I went though it with my son too a cub scout pocket knife, the scouts gave it to him for a award, and BB's in his pocket too on the buss. they were rolling them down the isle oh some one might slip and fall, the cracks in the rubber mate sucked most of them up.
