Happy St. Patrick's Day
My mother's side is extremely Irish, never really got into celebrating this day though,
Anyone have any plans?

Lies.... of the St. Patty's.
St. Patrick was not Irish. He was from Scotlan, England , ior Wales.
America began this tradition in the 1800's.
The true color is blue, not green.
The Irish pubs are usually closed on this day.
Today is the the day he died. So you are celebrating his death a%%hole.
St Patrick never ran snakes out of Ireland as there are no snakes. It is to cold.
The symbol of Ireland is the harp.
The don't eat corn beef. They celebrate by eating lamb.
Best to drink Guiness!!!

I always understood the legend (or whatever ya call it) is that there are no snakes in Ireland because St.Patrick ran them out?
