Re: Olympics
When you watch those rocks slide down the ice and they do a combination double or even triple...the amount of skill it takes to execute that is amazing.
I've considered trying to organize a clothing optional curling club here, to honor our athletes of course.
I'm not sure about today but yesterday the Canadians where second ,... I believe , in the medal standing.....

I can curl my tongue, and your toes. Thats only funny because it's true....and the talent lies in the fact that you can do both at the same time.

Re: Olympics
a lot of men think that figure skating is for sissies...but have you ever watched the couples? those guys are STRONG motherfuckers...anyone doubt me? then YOU try holding a 110 pound woman in the air above your head, with ONE ARM, while balancing on skates, and still have the ability to do your dance moves...

Re: Olympics
I love the skating as well. I have seen some people take a blade to various parts of the body and it makes me cringe.I have had minor injuries from getting hit with a blade while figure skating and it sucks. Those guys sometimes take a blade at such a fast speed with a force I wouldn't want to think about to body parts that I can't imagine the pain. The really amazing thing is that many times they just continue to skate.I think they only stop them if the blood drips on the ice.
All those athletes are amazing. I am just sad that the Olympics have become so political. It makes it hard to enjoy when it is more about that than the athletes.
