the Grammy Awards....
are nothing but a joke. from snubbing Heavy Metal music for a long time, and when they finally decide to include it... they give it to the most unlikely "heavy Metal" band, Jethro Tull?...then this year, they schedule a closing act featuring Queens of the Stone age, Linday Buckingham, Dave Grohl, and Trent Reznor, and drop out mid performance? and they tend to pair unlikely musicians together...Metallica and Lang Lang? a thrash metal band and a concert Pianist? i USED to like the song One, by Metallica, until i heard that garbage...

I always thought it was strange how actors/actresses, musicians, producers, etc have to "honor" themselves because no one else cares.

i don't usually watch, but i sometime do check out a performance or two the next day, to see what the buzz is all about. i happened to see the story on Yahoo news about Trent Reznor and how he responded to being cut off basically mid-performance...he "tweeted" this to the producers of the Grammy Awards..."Music's biggest night... to be disrespected. A heartfelt FUCK YOU guys." and the next story was about the performance of Metallica and Lang Lang...i like Metallica, so i watched the performance...but not for long, it SUCKED big time.
