Yes I have a set of old logging shoes like that for mules ,I found them under a tree, I also have a old Bar shoe from some poor old crippled horse about 100 years ago.Next to that old set of mule shoes was an old cast iron saddle horn..the rest of the saddle was gone but that old horn was still there.
It hangs in my house now.

I found and metal horn but it is the pommel also all one piece .you find neet shit when crawling through the woods cuz there some big fuckers chashing you. t hough you were allwed to keep strays. OCB

Right in the middle of calving and hauling hay, dealing with cows slipping on ice, prolapses, still borns, a bull who thinks he owns the place, frozen water lines,wet frost bit hands and toes, tractors not wanting to start....So things are running along like normal..I have some help coming here soon to give me some relief....Anybody wanna buy a Ranch ? See you all in four ,or five days...

I been patching plaster around the new door and bath. have a few pink tiles missing in the bath.not sure on replacements in pink for the whole bath, put gray stone floor tiles down. nail all the trim back up. thern the plumbing in the basement.

Had a great birthday! Spent most of it with my daughter. She is going on a short trip so will have the house to myself for 2 days.I have so much to do before I leave on Thursday that I think I will just run a few errand then relax Sunday afternoon so Monday I can hit the road running to get everything done. I love when I have great days.

they are saying a high of 46 today, might be a good day for a hike, still too much snow for anything else.even sweeping up the sand they got all over again, as I don't want to dump the bikes.

I got a medicated bandage on my right leg from my toes to my nuts , as they though I had a blood clot in my leg, its swelled and has a big purple bruise on it were I open the garage door back in Jan. and tripped over a cement block in the dark and fell into the step ladder and wiped out in a bunch of boards as I was cleaning the garage up and its not healing good.i have to go in every two days to get it changed, but my mom told the wife that's was the start of the ole man losing his leg from them wrapping it because of the edema stuff. only time will tell..then they are changing my meds around too as I gained 60 lbs almost over night and they though actoes was the cause.

the saucer size ring on my leg is gone, so they are telling me that the actoes was making me swell,i went from 270 to 336 lbs over night almost,now to get back again to losing water weight and what I gained when I stopped smoking cigs.
the plan today is a ride to marshfeild, was hoping to take the bike , but don't think its going to warm so much with a high of 54 today.monday hit 69 so it was nice riding walking or what ever ya like.

Was out for a while but all the fires made for a bad air quality day. So now I'm coughing and have a soar throat but at least I didn't have to evacuate this time. I'm just happy the firefighters finely got the worst of the fires under control and said people can go home now.No one hurt and minimal damage to property. No homes lost. Living in the pine barrens gets interesting at times.Although, I think this area has earned a break as far as natural disasters go.Please tell me why I live here?

I haven't had one in over 17 years now, we quit together she was smoke free 4.5 years, a girl Friend got her going again. but she needs to quit due to emphysema in the future

My plan for the day is to bottle feed an orphan calf....Then study a map to try and figure out how I got misplaced for 2 1/2 days in the mountains....I wasn't lost, I just wasn't sure where I was for part of a week.

shes nine days out again smoke free, she's got a long way to go to catch up with me, so we took a ride on the putt putt,looking for the old soda plant, we found it but sure hard hiking when the mud's up to your ankles

No just me an my old horse...The low cloud moved in and I couldn't see the sun, or the mountain peaks to get my bearings.
I was on a horse that I bought from a ranch 100 Kilometers north, so I let him have his way and he just was wandering home...After a few days I ran across a burn sight that I helped put out a few years back. Found an old fire line and wormed my way out...After using my saddle for a pillow and a smelly horse blanket to keep warm at night, I think I'm firmly in love with my down quilt and mattress .
