Whats the Plan for Today ?
Going to work on my barn doors, because the sun is shining and it's only -1
Work till dark then feed my cows and horses, feed myself, while I watch the last 2 hours of Klondike mini series.

I don't have a barn anymore so therefore no doors no cattle of horses i can feed my cat then write some about being a cowboy the most over romantized job there is. OCB

Install some low volt lights outside my barn doors for nightime vision , so I dont trip over the wheelbarrow at night....

going to move the truck a start to make a fire to heat the garage, and build a stand to put my 100 gal salt water tank on. then maybe have some hot soup and cake. it awful cold out there yet.

spent half a day on the phone over propane for heat , it hit 5 .50 a gal and I just had enough of it hows a guy to heat his house when it costs 1050 bucks for 200 gals of propane? and then it lasts a month. the other half went to writeing letters to our elected ones over it.

ya got one in the garagenot going to live out there, its not insulated I don't have much wood. I didn't go out and cut 20 cords this year.im burning skids and such. now a news flash... see the the price of propane was froze at a buck seventy five yesterday.

The plan for today is to do some work on my barn, feed my stock early, and attend a birthday party for my best friend ,who turns 50 today,...I'm in charge of the moonshine supply, and of course quality control of that product. I also am in charge of keeping the young cowboys from hitting on his exceptionally hot wife .
I also plan on seeing how well the floorboards are nailed down to the barn floor, with the back of my head,...that should commence at about 2 A.M....roughly.
I'm also very happy this guy isn't a member here, he's better looking, a better roper, gentleman, horseman and charmer than I am, with a New Zealand accent that women die over. We also consider each other brothers from different mothers.

Doing everything by hand is labor intensive for sure. Sounds like you'll have a nice one when done.

Sounds to me like they were charging you for Fuel Oil. Check into price gouging with the state.

well ya, walker called a emergency and guess they froze the price at 1.75 a gal. don't do much good now, when they all ready ripped me off over 100 bucks. and every time ya call there a new price. sent out 5 letters to my senators and such. just have to wait on Monday or Tuesday. got more snow again, watching the snow twisters blow by the front window going down main st.....

don't we just love cam girls , kick em twice for me ,m must of missed them or something in the dam cold. -45 with the wind tonight. frost bite in 15 minutes they say. we move out of the house in ogema that had fuel oil , 4.35 a gal back then. the only thing good about it was ya could buy 5 gals if ya ran out cant do that with propane. fixed my mr heater we used in the ice shack. use to be 12 bucks to fill the grill bottle , don't even want to guess now.

Licked my wounds last night, and watched Bounty Hunter starring Jennifer Aniston...she always makes me feel better.
Coffee , feed the animals, breakfast, then work in my shop till noon....
The rest of the day may take its course on its own.

I'm just wasting time trying to avoid stuff I have to do. I hate the beginning of the year. I get so stressed because of the amount of paperwork. I swear it gets worse every year. I am trying to get my head into a place to where I can face it all.
