Re: New
Im pretty much a creature of habit, so I dont try too many things any more. I know what I like, and I know what I dont like. I know what appeals to me and I know what doesnt. However, if I'm offered something that I've not tried, I'll usually try it as long as its something that appeals to me.

Re: New
Tried snowmobiling last month ,...I've done it a little before but never for a whole day, and now I'm cruising Craigslsit, and Kijiji, for a snow machine.
I tried to cross the frozen lake a few months ago, to see the old indian trail on the other side, the ice was dark in the middle, and I got half way across and it started cracking. I'll stick to my old policy of 8 inches or more, and not dying....Scared the freakin shit outta me.
I tried a mustard coloured shirt on the other day that I've owned for years, and never worn....It looked like I'd been in a food fight at a Firemans barbeque...that was a bad colour on anyone.
I've gone back to mushroom Chaga tea. It's from Siberia, and is a cultural drink that was brought back by some of my family that were imprisoned there.
Turns out that the World Health Organization recognizes it as a potent anti cancer med. amongst a whole bunch of other things that are good for you.
It is the most powerful anti oxident in the world.
I guess thats why most of the people in my family live to around 100.

Yeah...I've rescued a couple of guys too that had snowmobile accidents,...both survived but one I had to spend a few hours with on the lake ice before help arrived, his pants and jacket froze to the ice.He also didn't like the wolves that were circling us from the shoreline.
Another one they peeled off a tree he was impaled on...wasn't there for that one, but he didn't survive a 2 inch limb thru his chest.
The only thing is ...I'm not sure, ..and Kiss will back me up on this...If I can find a helmut that'll squeeze over the corners I have on my enourmous Kraut head.

Re: New
the hubby came limping home from sledding all banged up, flipped the sled on bear ice and hit a patch of snow. the only time he was glad to have a helmet on, but it was cracked. he said he was sliding and head was banging on the ice watching pieces fly.

Well....There you are ! ...Do you know what it is , make and engine size [c.c]..?
I'm not looking for anything over 750 c.c. because of my terrain here.
The larger machines are to bulky to get around the trees and rock outcrops.
If I come down that far, I'd be getting hungry after a 36 hour drive, and i'd need lunch... I'm buying..no arguements

Nah ..Sweet Jen just has her plate full right now , life has a way of occupying a great deal of time...Stuck up isn't even in that girls vocabulary.
Now Colorado has a bull I've been eyeing up for awhile, also one in Wyoming, If I don't have them shipped and I hook up the stock trailer for a drive I'll let you know,...I'm leaning towards the one bull in Wyoming , but our dollar is down to .90 cents U.S. which for me is good for selling, but not buying.
Of course there is the border to cross as well, and me with my cowboy hat, blonde hair, and blue eyes...I always get marked as a potential terrorist.

Lmao OCB I miss you too. Sy theres a little diner that serves chicken fried steak and eggs 24 hours a day. If you can tolerate eating while being watched by a stuffed bear and lynx, the food is excellent. WTFU we get these pretty snow flakes that turn to mud when they hit the ground. Beautiful today though.

I'm usually getting stared at by a Cougar ,or three when I eat a diner around here, so no problem....and chicken fried steak was my go too meal when I was touring Missouri....matter a fact, there was staring Cougars there too.

Re: New
The snarling cat is in a little hidden alcove in front of the womens restroom so when the diner is busy you will hear two or three women squeal when they get surprised by it.

Re: New
I agree with Free. Don't fall over Free.I am set in my ways as far as some things go,especially food. But I will try something if it appeals to me.
In regard to snowmobiles we had a few when I grew up and my brother still has one or two.He lives in the mountains. I always loved them.Okay not always. They suck when they break down in the middle of nowhere. But other than that they are great. I agree that there should be a set rule about how thick the ice is on the lake before you attempt to cross. I have seen more than a few people loose the snowmobile on or maybe I should say IN the lake because they were stupid and tried to cross or jump when the lake ice was to thin. Most of the time it also involved some heavy drinking as well.
I also had to mention that when it was questioned if Jen was stuck up I almost choked. I thought, there was no why someone was asking that about the same Jen I know. I guess you were. I don't know what lead to that question, but I can say that Jen has always been very sweet and nice to me and most everyone I have ever seen her interact with on here. The only exception I ever saw was when some idiot was extremely rude to her and a few others including myself in the chat room, so it was well deserved.By the way... Hi Jen!! I miss chatting with you.
