I understand your frustration. In most cases, a state search is enough but Texas being the size it is...a person in another zipcode might as well be in another state.
Right now, a state search is all we have, a lot of Texans do put something in their headline about their area (ie...Dallas/Fort Worth area, Houston area, etc...)

Same as NY. If I do a "match" search, it pulls up a lot of members in NYC, which is a good 6 hours from here. I'm much closer to Ontario, Ohio and PA

The best I can recommend is maybe adding your zipcode (NO addresses or alternate contact info) but just your zipcode to your headline and ad text...if (can't say it's very likely) but if anyone uses the advanced search feature will be able to use the zip as a keyword search.
The only way this would work is if it "catches on" and there were plenty of profiles with the zip code to get picked up by the search results.

it must suck to be you. besides that, i'm pretty sure sheep can't read zip codes...

She's still pissy I sheared her wool off a little late, and now she's colder than she should be.
