A newby is getting the lay of the land...difficultly
MediaMitch here, just new to the site. How in the world do you zero in on match's in your own zip code or city? I'm totally lost.

Re: A newby is getting the lay of the land...difficultly
it's not possible to get a local zip code, so many people use made up cites and towns, for privacy reasons. hope this helps a little. just don't give up. get yourself noticed by posting in the forums. if you read through them, you'll notice that there are really no limits as to the topic discussed, as long as the basic rules of the site are followed. you'll also want to get in the chat rooms if possible, and just chat with the folks in there. be polite, and you'll find you'll make some great friends, and maybe even find someone local.

You can also go into the "SEARCH ADDS" and fill in the appropriate info for Texas and you may find someone in your state....
When I type in British Columbia, which I've not done for some time now, I think I got 3 pages..
