Hell Ash..if you like Indians wearing warpaint ,you should come up here on a saturday cheap drink night.....The Vancouver bikers tread carefully when going into that bar after 9 P.M.........and don't call anybody Chief ...they tend to not like that.

Re: ma and pa kettle
Syb you are on my list of people I would love to hang out with just because the stories you tell or allude to make me laugh. GG, Free, NRG and Wondering5tar are all on the list. I'm sure there are otheres but you guys are the ones that always make me laugh.

Re: ma and pa kettle
Always liked the Ma and PA Kettle shows. Pretty much all the older shows. Great humor and not vulgar.

Re: ma and pa kettle
I remember one where the Kettle's livestock got drunk after getting into some moonshiner's mash.

Thanks Newbs....Your not so bad yourself..
Chazzy, ..My Dad , years ago managed to get some spent brewers mash for free ..from a distillery, I think they made vodka from it.
We fed out tons of the stuff, and every morning those cows would start balling for their grain, waking us up sometimes in the middle of the night.
I asked my Dad what their problem was, he said "...Those silly cows are just a bunch of drunks.....and it'll never age right while hanging, because they are all half pickled "
Funny thing was, it was the best beef we had ever produced, people wanted that stuff so bad we were turning them away.

Re: ma and pa kettle
Now you guys made me want to look up this show. I have heard of it but don't think I ever saw it. To be honest I thought it was a comic strip.

I don't produce enough spent mash with my little still to support one cow...I only produce shine for myself, and a few friends because it's a little bit illegal.
But you have me thinking.
