Re: Christmas trees
My daughter got this really ugly tree real cheap as a "tree to use until we can get ours from the attic" tree. Well its the second year we have to use it because the raccoons have taken up residence again since the roof has not been fixed and the weather got cold. My Manorah is up there as well so I have the little one with real candles. All my pretty stuff is up there I hope the raccoons are enjoying it! I am going to enjoy evicting them.

Re: Christmas trees
we got a ten dollor tree this year, and after ya pile all the junk on it , it dont matter much, aslong as it can hold up the weight of all the junk after 3 days to put it all on. after new years out to the fire pit it goes.just amazing all the stuff we got after 40 years
oh them racoons are hard to get ride of. a freinds across the street had them in his attic , the come out at night walking on thr power lines, like bats ya lose count

I have one of those, with the wheel that turns the tree four different colors as it rotates...

Re: Christmas trees
Don't have a tree inside, got all the rescue kittys and there's no way I'm putting up a tress full of shiny dangly things, got one of those ceramic table tree lamps but just don't have the right place to plug it in.
I just decorate the front porch, ya'all know I love my front porch in any season. I use fresh cut evergreen, usually cedar. The cedar reminds me of my childhood Christmas years. Pines were expensive and the cedar trees were cheap so things being tight for my hardworking parents we always had a cedar tree.
