Dumbest bet you've made?
Ever make a dumbass bet? Did you win or lose and what was the bet?
I'd start you off with my own story, but don't have one, don't make bets just hoping you'll amuse me with your stories.

That I wouldn't jump off my parents garage w/an umbrella. A sprained ankle later, that $10 was all mine.

hi Chazzy I bet a guy $20.00 I could rope a badger, I did but the badger came right up my rope. That rope is still on the Colorado prairie somewhere and it cost $30.00 to replace it. OCB

The horse had to chase after the Badger that pulled you away and rescue you?

Back when I was young & immortal, a local pilot here bet me $50 that I couldn't fly my plane under the bridge south of town. It's a very low narrow bridge. I accepted the bet, I had to tip the wings to make the plane fit under the bridge. I got the $50, but when I reflect back, $50 wouldn't even pay for the paint. I spent 4 yrs restoring that old plane... talk about more balls than brains ...

I bet one of my buddies 50 bucks I could nail the blonde Cloverdale Rodeo Queen....It took a few weeks , and I won the fifty....it was the hundreds of thousands years later that hurt when we divorced that stung.

It wasn't my bet. My friend had a bet with a guy my ex-husband used to work with weather or not my NOW ex-husband would show up at our wedding.During or wedding ceremony this stupid bet popped into my head and all I could think of was that my friend just won $50. I started laughing and couldn't stop and no one knew why I was laughing except me. I have to admit I wondered for a second what would happen if I would run out and we didn't get married. Would she still win? She won $50 and I married the asshole. I would have been better off if she lost the bet.
