Real Soon.......
I am testing a new system,and I am also fresh outta stripper glitter.....gimme a few weeks ...I'm working on it.I also see a few of us are not around much..I've got a notion for some serious misbehaving building up..Told you I'd be back....It was very expensive, and very difficult...just give me awhile longer...installing a satellite system in -32 isn't fast work, told you I was pain in the ass stubborn...hope this gets through....missed you guys a bunch....I've been wondering these past months...ever since I've left here, why is it when I dream..I have a English accent and why do I smell cranberries ?....

Glad you're back. Ya, duct tape doesn't work so well when it's cold. You were thinking about being by Kiss and passed thru WI on your way there. That should explain the accent and cranberries.

O.K. so the story is.....
I run into a young guy that sets up satellite systems for the Alberta oil fields, and he was in a tight spot ,in a local dive bar I.. ummmmm..eat supper at once in a while. It seems he didn't realize that the local Natives take offence to a young guy wearing a "Redman Chewing Tobbacco" T-shirt..
Anyways...I negotiated his scalp from being lifted ,..and he was pretty freaked out, so I bought him a drink ,...well that turned into many...very many.
In our drunken wisdom between solving all the problems in the middle east...and who's been with the chick with the biggest chest, I must have mentioned my satellite problem....which was his specialty.
The little guy was so happy to be alive ,he said he would come out and take a look at my ranch , and the terrain....and holy snapping nipple rings,...he showed up...
He found a provider with a southern attitude of service, and said he'd be back in spring to set me up. I said I'd go get my tractor and start burning stumps to thaw the ground, and pour concrete....he said he would then be back the following week with a used comm. system...
He set it up and said "see you in spring" to finish the project....a few days went by and I started feeding wire from the router to the house...and somehow...I figured it out.
It isn't the best installation, but it seems,...for now to work....but it was very expensive...
I have never experienced high speed before, and i've been on-line for about half an hour,...this is amazing.

Forgot to mention, had my last laser treatments [3 of them] , for my old battle scars, was gone for most of the week...and had to silver solder most of my farmered connections on my less than stellar internet connection when I got home...but it's seems to be working.

I haven't been on much lately but was happy to see you were back when i signed on tonight.
I know there is a way to get service almost anywhere these days because I have had personally known of my family having transmissions from underwater and far ends on this planet go through at times. I also know it comes with a big price tag. I will admit it also was always cool for my kids when they were in school to be able to talk to family members all over the world and sometimes under it or above it. They were the kids with the cool family. lol Years ago I remember having to say "Over" every time someone finished so the next one could talk. Or when the weather got bad in the slightest you would loose transmission from the satellite feed. It is getting much better these days. I hope with the way you described your hook up and the weather you get that things are better for you these days. Amazing how spoiled most of us are with technology. My kids would go out of there minds if they had to deal with the old dial up internet, when you waited for hours just to get a connection then you would get kicked off at the slightest problem.And downloading a picture could take hours yet we still thought it was great compared to "SNAIL MAIL"

I may have to get a couple of new computers, it seems my 5 year old antiquated equipment is a little too old for this system.
I have a real problem keeping the signal connected, so as some of you know....not much has changed...still haven't had time to try Chat yet, but probably will today.

Well....Yes.....It was Thursday, and the girls come down from 100 Mile House, and most of them see a dentist , at least once a year, and shower more than twice a week. You also know they are a class act when they wipe the pole down before ,and after their act.
I'm a little selective in my viewing pleasure.
