"Black Friday"
Really? Why would 3,000 people be waiting at a Wal-Mart in CA? No different anywhere else.

Re: "Black Friday"
The most pitiful display of human greed in inhumane forms. The WalMart where I live saw a young girl AND an older woman both injured by trampling at the store's start to Black Friday sale on of all days Thanksgiving evening. Never will I ever participate in any store's consummate desire to put profits over people. Stores no longer wait until Black Friday now. So that even proves they don't care about their employees if all they want is their service and not allowing families to celebrate holidays with their families.

That sums it up. People can buy this stuff all year long. Amazon did more business than Wal Mart did for the same time period. So, what does that tell ya? I agree with Kiss except for the coffee. Was thinking chocolate liquor

Re: "Black Friday"
There are always people working on holidays. I've always gotten last minute stuff at the grocery store, bought gas, or worked security, spent time in emergency, been pulled over, crossed the boarder, watched a fire truck. Consumerism rules and the herd follows along.
By the way I like Kisses idea far better. Spectator Sports!!!

Re: "Black Friday"
Just watched a video of two women fighting in a mall in Philly. One of them pulled out a stun gun and zapped the other, not expecting to get zapped herself. Maybe she should have taken a course in electricity or at the very least read the directions for the use of the stun gun, where she would have found that it's a no no to be holding on the person your stunning...

I know there are PLENTY of people who's jobs are 24-7 jobs, grew up with that, but I do not agree with the Black Friday extension into Thursday.
