flu shot
well that dam shot gave us the flu, or something sick for a week now , just a sweating and choking it up

Years ago it was a live vaccine and that got me sick but now the shot is not live.The inhaled version is and many people don't do well with that version. You either contracted it prior to the shot and your timing was just bad or you are having a bad reaction to the vaccine. It takes about 10 days until the vaccine works.The vaccine is also not a guarantee that you don't get the flu but it gives you some chance of protection against the flu if they got the strain right.The reports are saying that this year seems to be a better vaccine than those in recent years.
I tend to get a reaction from the vaccine that is similar to a mild flu but this year is the first time in about ten years I didn't have a reaction.

We had ours and came through with no problems, just a sore arm. I have heard of one other person getting sick after they got there's. they were not sure if it was from the shot or just happened at the wrong time.

well i know were weren't sick , got that way about 15 days later,just gets me mad got things to do, its snowing on top of it when i should be calking the windows

I didn't get sick, nor did it hurt, just a welt like a Skeeter bite. What I wanna know is why they tell me to drop my pants when the shot goes in the arm

There was just a report that said they are finding a link between getting the flu shot and it lowering your chances of a heart attack. I am going try to find more info on that. Not that it made any difference for me but it did sound interesting. I do know they say if you have any underlying issues you should always get vaccinated.
