The Best Things About Minnesota
1. They call it the land of 10,000 lakes for a reason!
How do they come up with names for lakes? Minnesota is the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" it is also called "Land of Sky Blue Waters."
2. Parks!
We have even more parks than lakes in Minnesota, but some of the most spectacular are the State & National Parks.
3. Nature and Beauty

4. BWCA - Boundary Waters Canoe Area
The BWCA is one of the most spectacular places in America to visit. The waters are crystal clean, because no motors are allowed. Everything is completely natural and as pristine in this protected wilderness area as it was 1,000 years ago.
5. Fairs, Festivals & Fun
Minnesota has festivals and fairs all year long. Being the frozen State, the Saint Paul Winter Carnival is famous for it's giant Ice Palaces.
6. Legends, History & More
Minnesota has a long and rich history that goes back to long before it even became a State.
Paul Bunyan Statues and Stories
Paul Bunyan was the biggest, strongest, toughest lumberjack who ever picked up an axe. There are stories about how Bunyan created the great lakes

Minnesota is full of cool places and things to see, from the beautiful Minnehaha Falls in Mineapolis to the Iron Range, Minnesota is full of great sights to see.

Minnesota is known for it's long history of supporting all of the Arts. The music scene has always been amazing in Minnesota and such greats as Bob Dylan, Prince and Soul Asylum have all come out of the Minnesota gene pool

The Germans have a cookie with a lye ingredient in them...and for the life of me I can't remember what they call them.....but us kids used to call them Gag Reflex Cakes......but cod marinated in lye ?....Shit...did someone get the salt mixed up with lye and think it was a good idea ?
What is the ratio there for marrying a family member.
