What is the strangest, sickest, or funniest rumor that you ever heard that was absolutely NOT true?
I was reading somethings on that web site that you go to to check out rumors or emails that you hear about to see if things are true. Most times it's helpful to check out some scams but, other times it's just fun to read to see some ridiculous rumors and the history of them. You have to admit some rumors are creative and hard to tell if they are real. Most are just stupid. I really like the funny ones because those don't generally hurt anyone.
What I really find interesting is the history behind some of them. For example. Have you ever heard that Mr. Rogers gave his audience the finger (from both hands) on his final shooting when he retired? For years this went around and reinforced with a picture of Mr. Rogers holding both hands up with his two middle fingers clearly displayed. It turns out the pictures are real. HOWEVER, they were taken years earlier and there is a very innocent explanation. There is a song "Where is Thumbkin". When you sing this song to children it goes through the fingers and you are supposed to hold them up when you get to each finger. He was just singing that very popular song at the time.
So what are some of the funniest, sickest, saddest, scariest or strangest rumors you ever heard or started? I can't wait to read GG's or 5tar's. Just sayin.....

Ya know, thats funny, but sad at the same time. Kids can be so cruel, even if they dont realize it. Even budding lesbians
