Hey, is it ever as good as the original?
Last night I went out to see Michael Allman. He is the son of Gregg Allman/Allman Brothers Band.
I will tell you he was good. He had good presence on stage. So I was surprised to read he has terrible stage fright. And, this is one of the reasons he sat through most of the show.
He was very personable. It was a small venue. Around a hundred people. He came into the crowd and sang. He walked around. He signed his autograph. He describes himself as goofy. Yes, he was. I was standing right next to him. Yes. He touched me. He is very tall, and thin, with some nice tattoos.
The voice. He could wail out the lyrics, but the slower softer vocals just were not there, from what I could hear. There was a $5. cover and he sold his CD for $10. I wish him well.
It was good to see my friends. I wonder how they are feeling this morning?

He is an "Original". I would hate to be the kid of anyone famous. They always get compared to their parents. I didn't even like being compared to my brothers in school.I think it's even worse when these kids look like their famous parent. John Lennon's son gets it all the time. I totally understand when they try to go by another name. Just imagine your life ....Everything you do and say is reported. Every mistake you make is on the cover of every magazine and TV shows talk about you as if you have no feelings. NO Thanks! They should be treated like a normal individual like they are. That's the only fair way.

seems no mater what they redo it never the same , new battle star , star wars , war of the worlds , titanic and planrt of the apes and so on. even with better effects, is it better or just dragged on?
