Haven't been able to loiter around here much lately, but I am logging in whenever possible, reading my mail and looking forward to catching up!

I was kinda getting, just a little worried .... Happy to see you around.
Even L+H has stopped insulting me, then you go quiet.....maybe Free was right, I may need to scrape my boots clean a little more often.

that's because i've been too damn busy working to take the time on insulting you....in the last pay period of two weeks, i had 160 hours between both jobs...

Missin' your photos IcanCU....ya got such a nice face.
I miss all of you, I'm trying out some new migraine meds, the first one was like pure poison to me and pretty much lost two weeks of my life from that...so off of those and the ones I'm trying now have less side effects but side effects none the less...trying to help mom tie up some widow loose ends (dealing with the VA is pretty damn frustrating)

.... out of the sling, getting better, still can't raise my arm all the way up on its own, only shoulder high, behind my back only about waistline . I was hoping to get back to work, at least light duty, but disability insurance don't want me to go back until I'm 100% healed

Good reason for that, this surgery has a 70% percent chance of some level of re-tear even if you do everything right.
Can't rush it!
Send me the name of that supplement for migraines you told me about...starts with an L I think?

.. its. Vitamin called "Lecithin " or some brands are called. "Soy Lecithin " the best place I found to buy it is Walgreens ... about $8.00 for a quart jar ... for me its been like a miracle drug... absolutely no headaches in 7 yrs... not even little ones... before I started taking lecithin, I was literally afraid to leave town, if I got a migraine out of town what would I do. Now I don't worry at all about travel. Hope this helps ya Chazzy

Chazzy make sure you check with your doctor and/or pharmacist about taking Lecithin. If I remember correctly some people can't or shouldn't take it. Make sure that you can take it with the meds and supplemental you already take.Many people don't realize that even if it's something over the counter or vitamins you can still have a bad reaction or complication if you take other meds or have other issues. Not sure what else you tried for migraines but they do have something like an Epi pen now for migraines I hear the success rate is pretty high.We all get them in our family and all find different things work for different people.Hormone issues also make some women have sever migraines so you might want to have your levels checked as well.I hope you feel better. I have not gotten them nearly as often as I used to but when I did I know they make you want to chop your own head off. Good luck.

I don't make a move without my neuro doc knowing about it, aneurysms run in the family, I have at least one that I have to have scanned and tracked regularly and will be getting my next scan this coming week, so nope...I don't even take a vitamin without the neuro doc's permission.

I hope you get some relief soon. Glad to know you are being careful as well. I am always shocked that so many people don't think to ask about OTC stuff. I wish it would be publicized more about the harm even a simple supplement can be if mixed with the wrong med or situation.Best wishes.
