Misbehaving in a bar and not having your picture taken with a strangers IPhone.
You could rope a calf at a rodeo ..and not listen to the protesters.
If a dude molested or otherwise bothered the females in your family ...you could deal with it yourself,...and NOT get charged.
When you lose your temper...everybody didn't think you needed counseling.
....and when a kid acted up in school he was a "handful".....he didn't become a zombie...drugged out on behavior modifying pharmeceuticals.

a kid could bring in a home made goodies to school for their birthday
kids could dress up for Halloween parties in school.
you could say Merry Christmas with out fear of offending someone.

Soldiers arriving home from war were honored..
Children could walk down a street, and were safe.
You could leave your front door unlocked, and the keys in your truck.
Paying attention to a young lady ,didn't class you as a potential stalker.
Rapists were hung,...and child molesters just vanished from the face of the earth.
The Taliban were just a word in another language.
Terrorism was something you did to your kid sisters friends at Halloween.
.....and gay guys didn't wear cowboy hats......."not that there is anything wrong with that".....

Cooking over a campfire wasn't nostalgic.
Children respected senior citizens.
You owned a car, a horse, and a saddle.
Grandpa talked about plowing the field with horses,....and he didn't have to talk over the sound of rap music.
John Wayne , and westerns were cool.
If you wanted a clear picture on the T.V. ....you had to have your younger brother hold the antenna and lift his leg.
A computer was something they had in a bunker in Washington.
You could fish in any creek or lake,.....and actually eat the fish.
If you wanted to sight in your rifle....you did it in the backyard, you didn't need a membership at a rifle range....

One dumb ass who is "offended" by something didn't try to change the way that the rest of society thinks
A bully was one kid at school that just needed to be knocked down a peg
You could discipline your kid with a light swat on the ass or hand without some new age, mamby pamby moron wanting to report you to CPS.
"Time Out" only existed in sports
People were happy to get a job and worked hard to get promotions and raises. They didnt demand what they thought they should get paid.
Teachers taught what they were supposed to teach and didnt insert their personal beliefs

When you can watch the news for a half hour and find out everything you needed to know. Remember when news casters/ reporters "reported" the news and didn't give their opinion.
Remember when there were only channels 2 (CBS),4(NBC),7(ABC) and if you really got lucky you had 13(PBS).And TV went off the air at 11 pm and all you got was the flag and national anthem.

you could discipline your child w/ out fear of going to jail
you feared going home from school after getting in trouble because your parents would punish you twice as bad as the principal did
you went door to door on Halloween and then ate the candy you came home with
Holidays were about being with family and friends
A teacher could hug a kid if they just needed a hug
