Re: Does anyone know?
Come to think of it, I had the menthol ones. The first time I had the "Blue". The other was the disposible type that hold the equivalent of 2 packs worth of nicotine. But both types were menthol.
Others I know have used them with no problem but they weren't menthol. And used them less than a week.

Re: Does anyone know?
Might wanna check a forum search in the advice forum, I do recall someone posting a lot of praise about the e-cigs there...

Re: Does anyone know?
I just got back from checking them out. They are really cool, they sure don't look like a cigarette. They do have a juice called tobacco and it was just as if I had a cigarette. I can't believe the different juice you can buy for them. even tried a root beer float. you can also step down the amount of nicotine in them.

Re: Does anyone know?
my company went completely tobacco free nationwide, but my local plant is still allowing smokers to go outside to smoke on the premises, in a smoking area. on the backside of the building (for now anyway). but they won't allow E-Cigs either, because it's not fair to the real smokers that can't smoke indoors.

Re: Does anyone know?
we are not allowed to use them in doors at work either. and I do not see a problem with it. I will use it just as if it is a cig. I do not smoke in the house so those will not be allowed in the house either.

Why not? They're only water vapor and flavoring. The nicotine is so negligible on an exhale that even if you blew it in Pa's face he wouldn't be able to detect it let alone get addicted to it.
I bought the, "BLU" brand when they first came out. A kit that goes for about sixty dollars, but it's well worth it. You get a black cig-pack that's a recharge station. There's a rechargeable battery pack in it and can charge your battery on the cigarette about eight times before it needs to be recharged itself. You get two batteries, and twenty-five flavor cartridges. They have a multi-flavor pack with the five flavors; cherry, vanilla, coffee, full-flavor, and menthol. Check it out. I bought one as an alternative to smoking outdoors. Somehow, standing on the dock, huddled in a small group at 4am, with temps in the single digits, and the wind blowing, made me look for alternatives. I eventually used it exclusively, sneaking a puff here and there about the shop (the smoke dissipates rather quickly). Eventually I used it less and less, and surprise, surprise, I quit smoking all together. It's been since 08 that I've even thought about a cig or the e-cig.

Re: Does anyone know?
The one I bought does not even look like a cig. and there is so many different juices for it, it is amazing.
I don't want to be in the habit of using it so I am treating it as if it is a cig. I will use the level of nicotine that I have now and in about a month I will cut that back. and will do that till There is none left just the vapor.

Re: Does anyone know?
It has been working great so far. I opened a pack of cigs Saturday morning and just had the last one in the pack. I normally go through a pack a day. and I have not used the e- cig that much. I got the tobacco flavor juice and I think next time I might try the root beer float.

Re: Does anyone know?
I haven't smoked in 28 years and am allergic so I can only pass on what I have been told. My son quit by using sn e-cig. It took awhile to find the right one for him. From everything I have seen and heard it is like many other things. It comes down to personal preference. He tried many different brands and flavors until he found the one that satisfied his taste and cravings. He said the really cheap ones didn't work for him because for many reasons but also pointed out that in the long run they were costing him more than the more expensive ones because they didn't last as long, they were not all rechargeable and he didn't care for some of the flavor options. He finally settled on something similar to whet GG talked about.
I noticed the few times I was around him when he smoked them the smell was barely noticeable. However I to not agree with GG about the " only water vapor " . There seems to be some new debate as to the truth in that statement and if there are any effects whether second hand or even first hand that were not clear. For that reason many places are starting to include the e-cig's in the "no smoking" laws and or policies. The general rule of thumb is that until more independent studies can be done, they want to air on the side of caution.

Re: Does anyone know?
I have the vapor one I still treat it as a cig. I do not smoke in the house so when I want one I go outside. so not allowing it as they do a cig does not bother me at all.
