Commercials You'd Like To See Banned
Flo's new Progressive commercial with the "lets get ready to rumble" announcer.
ALL personal injury attorney commercials
ALL incontinence commercials!
Every breakthrough new drug that spends more time talking about the side effects rather than the benefits, Axiron's 1 minute ad spends 45 seconds talking about the potential dangers of taking it. I can deal with an erection lasting 4 hours. But anything that may cause heart attack, stroke or death? I'm out

Re: Commercials You'd Like To See Banned
This would be futile to argue with, but any commercial where the guy in it is, "Dumb as a Stump". Apparently, according to tv commercials anyway, we guys fail at just about everything: We can't send money to the wife, because we don't know how to use Western Union.
We think shopping in the mall takes less time and aggravation than it takes to ship a package at the local post office.
We can't be trusted with money or a credit card, cause we might come back with the wrong thing or another.
We can't even remember where we left the car keys or our pants before we leave the house, if our wives didn't put breakfast on the table that morning.
etc...

Re: Commercials You'd Like To See Banned
There is one commercial with a couple in a car. She is whining about the heat. Then they are hocking something for the air-conditioner of the car. So easy anyone can do it. The couple is back and she's griping about freezing.
If it's so easy why didn't whiny do it?

Re: Commercials You'd Like To See Banned
Any commercial that can easily defunct with actual facts...Cigarette commercials about the dangers of smoking have gotten so bad as of late, that you can die from second hand smoke, but did you also know that it takes a matter of years and close confinement?
Ads that say the percentage of people who died from smoking are actually false percentages. To pump up the numbers, smoking haters added in anyone who had or has had any lung complications. So older folks who were exposed to asbestos when they were younger are in that percentage, anyone who had cancer where it was spread to the lungs is lumped into that group too. Couple in people who have even died of mysterious circumstances are also included. Hey they could have been smokers...

Not the season for it yet, but it's coming. Any political commercials that only tell half truths, or leaves parts out to make it sound more scandalous...

All the weight loss products. Whether they're miracle weight loss pills or powders that you sprinkle on your food, or the meal systems like Jenny Craig or Nutrisystem. People spend obscene amounts of money on this stuff when any doctor will tell you to control your portions and your sugar and fat intake. And get off your ass and do something physical, even if it's just walking!

I actually saw last night, an ad, for weight gain pills?! The before and after photos were priceless. One woman, Hispanic, looked rather thin in the before, like a model. In the after, her pants looked like they were straining to stay on without ripping apart. Her ass was huge, typically seen in porno movies with ethnic girls. She had enough skin hanging over her belt, to hide the buckle from sight. The guy's was even funnier. His before showed him as slender and muscular. The after effect he lost his six pack to what could only be described as a body built by 12 ounce curls.

Some people ask me what Gym I go too, or who is my personal trainer.....I tell them to buy a ranch, get divorced, and take on a mortage that you can't afford .....
