My best friend is a good guy, and a true cowboy...
My female best friend is totaly hot, puts me in my place when I need it, she will google everything I say , to make sure it's accurate, will listen to me for hours on end, and correct my spelling mistakes, she only wants the best for me...and sometimes views me as a sexual object.....but I .."guess"... I'm fine with it.

I have 2 BFFs both live in TX now . . . but what I have recently been reminded of is I have a shit load of absofuckinglutely amazing friends!! from a 5am phone call saying just checking in to see how you're doing to an hour long midnight text session getting me through an emotional meltdown. And now I have even more friends thanks to WN

Had one, but I got tired of him and how I always had to do the pushing in the relationship. I had to push him, hard, just to get him to commit to a date for things like; golfing, working out, walking around the beach, even just sitting around talking. I understand he has a family and they come first, but it doesn't become your every excuse for everything. You know he moved about five years ago, and I've never been to his new place. Every time I ask I get, "The wife is sick or the kids are sick". Man they are sick a lot.
Just recently, I heard from a mutual friend that he accepted a golf date to go from him. I'd been pushing him for nearly two years to go to no avail, and he's going with him with a simple, "Why not?"?! Lately he told someone that he thinks I'm mad at him, because I haven't been talking to him. I wasn't mad at him, finding something else to bide my time, but now that I realize it, "I am mad at him." He's a jerk. I find it better not to have any close friends anymore. For most people that may seem sad or wrong, but I don't care. I'm still the happy go lucky guy I've always been, and I don't need a close friend like him to assure myself of that fact...
