stripped down...
i've been sharing some John Mellencamp songs with Free. they are rare acoustic versions of a few hits he had in the 80's.
i've always been a big fan of hearing a song stripped down, raw, and acoustic. i've found some very nicely down songs by Bon Jovi as well...
so, if you could hear any song, stripped down and unplugged, done by the original artist, who would it be, and what song?
i'd be interested in hearing some Metallica. the song "One" would be very cool, or "Enter Sandman".

Yeah, the one in particular was his demo of Jack & Diane. It's so cool to hear what they started out as. I saw an interview where John was asked how he writes so many great rock classics. He said "Rock songs? Hell, I'm just a folk writer. Its the band that turns them into rock songs". I stumbled across a vid on youtube where Paul was doing a live demo of Hey Jude for the rest of the guys. It was nothing like how we know it now. Even the words were different. I love stuff like that
