Sweet Summer!
Cool dewey morning, bright blue sky, fresh coffee and the bluegrass is on.
Gonna shower up, put on a light cotton sundress, put my hair in a pony tail and take a road trip down south a bit to the hills, I love going there.

My youngest was in Virginia and tried some apple pie moonshine.said when she opened the jar it smelled just like a apple pie. he was happy he got to try real moonshine. lol

The good old quart mason jar filled full of everclear......now thats much classier than laying on the floor and letting the still drip it in your mouth.

Someone hands you a fine jar of the stuff, you say Thank you! You don't ever ask about the still, who's still, where's the still, what kind of still...you just say Thank you.

Hubs had never been to the area we were at yesterday, I pointed out all the hills and explained "Up there are running stills and people who live the winter with hibernating bears under their porches"

It only takes an hour and a half to start the still drippin' ....and I'll have a bearskin rug ready for you to take home....those black bears are plentiful here, but they usually see things my way.
