Did everyone get a good night's sleep? I kinda did, didn't sleep well the night before and was worn out yesterday.

we hear ya , been out camping went to Bessemer Michigan, rain half the night bad skeeds, off fixes them but them dam black flies came out the next morning by the 1000s, like being in the horror move i never seen Sm many of them , then they bite,climb down your sock and bite ya, we were out of them by ten the net mooring,didn't even eat. then the national forest wants 16 bucks a night to sleep on the ground, no water , it contaminated with chloroform bac. sure canceled out on the bike trip....then we went to otter lake ,,,who wants to go to otter lake??? would ya believe the darn frogs croak tooo loud had 3 nights of that and ya could live with the bugs

Skeeters seem to be really bad this year. I've done the usually looksee every where to make sure we have nothing with standing water in it and still they are pretty thick.

same up here, you have to dump the water ,they even lay in empty thing hope they will fill up again, we wash most things out , with a brush.those are the photoes of the camp site we were in, its the only nat foest campgrounds on lake superior, there is a harbor and the black river has several canyons with water falls ya can do the hike,the black river camp is on top of the bluff, nice beach to hike and lots of dirftwood. gas in the harbor and ice cream and pop tooo. couple of yeas ago i got the wife a hat and tshirt that said black river harbor on it...
the only time we did get to the lake was about 1 am , hiking in the dark , dark ass celler and red and green lights in the distance

I'll have to look that up, haven't been camping in years, use to go to Red Bluff in Davisville, beautiful river, beautiful place. Got a picture of the red bluffs as my desktop right now.
